(( It’s a slow process after Clint saves Natasha from the Red Room. It took him 3 weeks to stop her from actually eating people.  It was helped along by the fact that every time she brought a non-devoured limb back, Clint promised that Coulson would give her a new gun.

Positive reinforcement at it’s finest, and SHIELD is expert at it. ))
